Any service or consultation performed by a registered Naturopathic Doctor is considered an eligible medical expense. That includes saliva tests, injections, IV therapy, prolotherapy, nutritional analysis, and even stress management.
On the other hand, vitamins and supplements, and many other products sold by Naturopathic Doctors aren't an eligible expense according to the CRA.
That also means that while an injection may be eligible, the service and the cost for the provider to do the injection is eligible, but not the supplement itself.
We know it's tricky, so that's why we always need a description (or receipt) of the services provided by a Naturopathic Doctor so we can determine eligibility.
