What is an EFAP?
An Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) is a health and wellness resource that provides free, confidential support and counselling for individuals and their families experiencing work-life challenges.
An EFAP is delivered as part of a group benefits plan as another way to support health and wellbeing.
Our EFAP is delivered by HumanaCare. Check out their video below to learn more about the program.

Why access my EFAP?
Many people face personal problems and pressures in their daily lives. Sometimes these problems become too much to handle and will affect personal happiness, family life, performance at work, and physical and mental health. Problems can worsen with time and may become difficult to deal with on your own. HumanaCare’s support and counselling can assist in finding ways to deal with these challenges.
How do I access my EFAP?
You can call HumanaCare 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at 1-800-661-8193 or fill in an online service request at https://humanacare.com/servicerequest. Your call will be answered by a registered intake clinician who will help guide you through the best course of action and support.
You can also access health and wellness resources online in the HumanaCare Employee Portal.
The portal is accessible on your computer or mobile device and includes videos, webinars, articles, courses, and assessments to help prioritize your health.
